St Chad's Mothers' Union is an active group that plays a vital part of church life.
Our work for overseas, this country and our local community continues and members give generously to these causes. We still provide all baptism cards for the Church, also have a rota to wash the Church linen every week and a rota to help at Jump for Joy once a month. We raise money for the Church at the annual Garden Party and Christmas Fayre.
We visit members who are less able to attend meetings outside of their home. We work hard and we play hard, we have our aims and objectives which we follow to help maintain family life. The only criterion to becoming a member is that you have been baptised in the Christian faith regardless of denomination.
We also invite you to come along as our guest. Both ladies and gentlemen are invited and will be made most welcome; if you wish to become a member please leave a message at the Parish Office for Shirley Robinson or a member of the committee. We meet on the fourth Thursday in the month at 2.00pm at the Church Hall.
